In Stark Detail

I've just got back from Orange, Texas...a little town in South East Texas where we'll be moving to in the near future.
I took a series of shots of the W.H. Stark House in downtown Orange. The Stark House is a careful restoration of an 1894 Victorian home, typical of a Southeast Texas family. The house is the only surviving structure of many that once lined a tree-shaded residential neighborhood.

Macro delight

I'm in love with my new lens...I didn't even notice the raindrop on this Calla Lily until I pulled out my camera.

It's a Cat's Life

I try very hard to not be the 'crazy English cat lady' in my neighborhood. I manage to conceal the fact that I own 3 indoor cats and 2 barn cats quite well by also owning 3 dogs, 3 horses and a rabbit.
Hmmm...maybe I'm just known as 'that crazy English woman with all the animals' - darn.
Anyway...my latest series of prints is entitled 'It's a Cat's Life' (because it certainly is around here).

Pine Ridge

'Pine Ridge' is now available in my etsy shop

I had some Pine Ridge prints come in the other day and was very pleased with the processing. They are full prints (no white borders) and printed on Kodak Professional Endura Metallic Paper. This incredible gloss paper has a metallic appearance that adds depth, richness and intensity to the images. It has superb archival qualities to ensure that your print will last a lifetime. The metallic effect is subtle but it really makes the print.

I took this shot on my 38th birthday when I was at Bay Bluffs Park, off Scenic Drive, in Pensacola Florida. Here's some information about the area.
